To register an account and utilize BitFuse services, you must satisfy all of the following requirements:

  • Be an individual who is at least 18 years of age with full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Malawian law;
  • Reside in Malawi or possess valid legal identity documentation issued by the Government of Malawi;
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information, including your legal name, email address, and active Malawian mobile phone number;
  • Maintain only one (1) personal account on the BitFuse platform. Operating duplicate, proxy, or automated secondary accounts is strictly prohibited.

4. Account Registration & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password, email inbox, and mobile phone security.

  • You must notify BitFuse immediately at `bitfusemw@gmail.com` if you suspect unauthorized access or compromise of your account credentials.
  • BitFuse enforces session security controls, including automatic inactivity timeouts, to guard active user accounts against unauthorized access on shared devices.
  • BitFuse is not liable for losses resulting from user negligence, shared account credentials, or unauthorized access to the user's personal email or phone line.

5. Identity Verification & KYC

To maintain platform security, prevent fraud, and satisfy customer due diligence standards, BitFuse enforces mandatory identity verification (KYC).

Documentation: Users must submit legible front and back images of their official Malawian National Identity Card and a selfie photo.

Verification Workflow: Identity submissions are reviewed manually by BitFuse compliance reviewers. Verification statuses include unverified, pending, verified, or rejected.

Trading Limits & Rights: Full trading and withdrawal functionality may be restricted until KYC verification is completed. BitFuse reserves the right to request updated identity records or proof of source of funds where required.

6. AML/CFT & Financial Crime Controls

BitFuse maintains customer identification, transaction monitoring, and financial-crime prevention controls designed to address applicable legal and operational requirements in Malawi.

We strictly prohibit the use of BitFuse for money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, tax evasion, darknet trading, or fraudulent activities. BitFuse reserves the right to delay, hold, or reject transactions that trigger financial crime flags, and to report suspicious activities to competent law enforcement or regulatory authorities where legally required or permitted.

7. BitFuse Services Overview

BitFuse currently provides digital asset exchange services facilitating spot conversions between USDT and Malawian Kwacha (MWK), with settlement executed via Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba, off-chain internal peer-to-peer transfers, and blockchain withdrawals.

SERVICE LIMITATIONS & ROADMAP DISCLAIMER:
  • BitFuse is a software fintech platform and digital asset exchange. BitFuse is NOT a bank, licensed payment service provider, foreign exchange bureau, deposit-taking institution, or investment advisor.
  • USDT is a cryptographic token and is NOT legal tender or official fiat currency in Malawi.
  • Features designated on product roadmaps (such as Virtual Cards or merchant tools) represent future development items and are NOT currently available live services. Roadmap references do not constitute a contractual guarantee of availability.

8. Buying USDT Workflow

Buying USDT on BitFuse follows a structured, verified payment workflow:

  1. User selects the desired USDT buy amount and specifies their mobile money payment channel (Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba).
  2. The system displays the applicable exchange rate, service fee, and exact MWK total payable, generating payment instructions with a unique reference number.
  3. User transfers the exact MWK total via their mobile money wallet to the designated BitFuse merchant business details within the quote validity period.
  4. User submits their mobile money transaction ID via the platform. The order status updates to payment_submitted / under_review.
  5. BitFuse administrators verify payment receipt against mobile money merchant records. Upon verification, the order moves to completed and USDT is credited to the user's account balance.

9. Selling USDT Workflow

Selling USDT for MWK follows a structured payout process:

  1. User selects the USDT amount to sell and designates their verified Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba recipient phone number.
  2. The platform displays the sell rate, fee calculations, and exact MWK payout amount.
  3. Upon order confirmation, the corresponding USDT balance is debited or reserved.
  4. BitFuse dispatches MWK settlement to the user's designated mobile money account. Upon successful transfer, the order status transitions to completed.

10. Exchange Rates, Quotes & Fees

Exchange rates for USDT/MWK conversions fluctuate based on market conditions. BitFuse displays real-time quotes, applicable service fees, and network fees prior to order submission.

  • Displayed Quotes: The exchange rate and fee structure shown on the order confirmation screen govern the specific transaction, provided payment is submitted prior to quote expiration.
  • Quote Expiry: Payment instructions contain an active validity period (e.g., 30 minutes). If payment is not submitted before the quote expires, the order status transitions to expired.

11. Mobile Money Settlement Rules

MWK payments are processed through third-party telecommunications networks (Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba).

  • Users are responsible for providing correct mobile phone numbers registered for mobile money services.
  • BitFuse is not liable for settlement delays caused by mobile money operator system maintenance, network downtime, or wallet transaction limits imposed by telecommunication operators, provided BitFuse initiated processing within reasonable operational timeframes.

12. BitFuse Balances & Custody

Account balances displayed on the BitFuse platform represent digital internal ledger entries tracking your available USDT or MWK funds.

BitFuse ledger balances do not constitute banking deposits, do not earn interest, and are not covered by statutory deposit insurance. BitFuse maintains operational liquidity reserves to settle user withdrawal and exchange requests.

13. Blockchain Withdrawals

BitFuse supports USDT withdrawals on the TRON (TRC-20) and BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) public blockchain networks.

CRITICAL BLOCKCHAIN RISKS:
  • Irreversibility: Blockchain transfers are permanent once broadcast to public networks. BitFuse cannot reverse or cancel confirmed blockchain transactions.
  • Address & Network Verification: Users must carefully verify the destination wallet address and ensure selecting a matching supported network (TRC-20 vs BEP-20). Transferring assets to an incorrect address or unsupported network results in permanent token loss.
  • Network Fees & Congestion: Dynamic blockchain network fees apply to withdrawals. Processing speed depends on public network congestion and block confirmations.

14. Internal Peer-to-Peer Transfers

Verified BitFuse users may transfer USDT off-chain to other BitFuse account holders by entering the recipient's registered username. Internal transfers settle instantly across internal BitFuse ledgers without incurring public blockchain network fees.

Internal P2P transfers are final once confirmed by the sender. Users must verify recipient usernames before sending.

15. Transaction Finality & Refunds

Orders marked as completed, internal P2P transfers finalized on internal ledgers, and withdrawals broadcast to public blockchains are final.

Unprocessed orders in awaiting_payment or under_review status may be cancelled by the user or rejected by BitFuse administrators if payment verification fails. If an order is rejected due to administrative verification failure, transferred MWK funds will be refunded to the originating mobile money account, subject to compliance review.

16. Payment Mismatches & Unmatched Funds

If a user transfers an MWK amount that differs from the order total generated during checkout, the order status transitions to payment_mismatch.

Orders flagged with payment mismatches require manual review by BitFuse support staff. BitFuse may either adjust the credited USDT amount to reflect actual received funds or refund the transaction, subject to deduction of third-party processing charges where applicable.

17. Transaction Limits

BitFuse enforces minimum and maximum transaction limits on buy, sell, withdrawal, and internal transfer operations. Limits are displayed dynamically within the user interface during order creation.

BitFuse reserves the right to modify transaction limits or enforce account-level daily or monthly volume thresholds for risk management, security, or legal compliance purposes.

18. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to engage in any prohibited platform activities, including:

  • Submitting false or fraudulent mobile money transaction IDs or altered payment receipts;
  • Using stolen identity documents or third-party mobile money accounts without authorization;
  • Creating multiple accounts or proxy accounts to bypass volume limits or KYC controls;
  • Attempting to probe, scan, reverse-engineer, or exploit platform API endpoints or software;
  • Using BitFuse for illegal gambling, darknet purchases, scams, or unlawful financial activities.

19. Restrictions & Termination

BitFuse reserves the right to temporarily restrict, suspend, or terminate account access in cases of suspected fraud, security compromise, material breach of these Terms, false identity submissions, or where required by court order or legal authority.

Upon account termination for non-fraudulent reasons, legitimate user balances will be returned to the account holder via mobile money or blockchain transfer, subject to applicable compliance restrictions.

20. USDT & Digital Asset Risks

Transacting in digital assets involves operational, market, and technology risks. Users acknowledge that:

  • Digital stablecoins (USDT) depend on third-party smart contracts and issuer reserve backing;
  • Blockchain networks may experience congestion, technical upgrades, or temporary delays;
  • Exchange rates between USDT and MWK vary based on market supply and demand.

21. Service Availability & Networks

While BitFuse strives to maintain continuous platform availability, services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

Services may be temporarily interrupted for scheduled maintenance, system updates, or emergency security responses. BitFuse relies on third-party cloud infrastructure, mobile money networks, and public blockchains outside our direct control.

22. Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in the BitFuse name, logo, visual design, user interface, domain names, API code, and platform documentation remain the exclusive property of BitFuse Limited (`COY-7P7FJWY`).

23. Disclaimers

BitFuse provides exchange and software services without express or implied warranties of fitness for a particular investment purpose. BitFuse does not provide investment, financial, tax, or legal advice.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malawian law, BitFuse Limited and its directors, officers, and employees shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform usage, user error, blockchain congestion, or third-party telecom network outages.

Preservation of Statutory Rights: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits BitFuse's liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation in Malawi.

25. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BitFuse Limited against claims, damages, liabilities, or legal costs arising from your material breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or provision of knowingly false identity or transaction information.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be submitted to informal dispute resolution via our support desk (`bitfusemw@gmail.com`). Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Malawi.

28. Changes to the Terms

BitFuse may update these Terms to reflect operational, technical, or legal changes. Updated versions will be published on our platform with an updated version number and "Last Updated" date.

29. Electronic Acceptance & Severability

By selecting the acceptance checkbox during account registration or continuing to use BitFuse services after updated Terms are published, you confirm your electronic acceptance of these Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
